The Aachen chapter was founded in April 2023 by the founding members, all from the RWTH University. However, our community is growing beyound the university and we welcome everybody interested in supporting women and other minorities in AI.

Christmas Talks & Social
Join us for our first series of talks on 28 November 2023, 17:00 - 18:00 in Skylounge (Templergraben 55, Aachen).
Selin Aydin will present on "Experimenting with Jupyter Notebook - Do's and Don'ts", and Dr. Julia Kowalski will talk about "Societal Challenges Datathon as a Teaching Format – Joint Participation in an ‘Equity in Healthcare’ Challenge".
After the event we will be heading to the Aachen Christmas Market.
No registration is required. You can join for either of the events or for both.
Meet & Greet Picnic
Want to meet the founding team and other community members? Join us for a very informal picknick on 25 August 2023, 18:00 on the Greens of Elisengarten in Aachen.
There will be no official program, just meet, chat, and connect with likeminded. Feel free to bring your own food and/or drinks.
If it's raining, we'll meet at the Eiscafe Elisenbrunnen for an ice cream and/or a coffee.
